On January 25th, as the Spring Festival approached, the Overseas Engieering & Construction Company’s North Kalimantan Electrolytic Aluminum Project in Indonesia received good news: the project team was awarded a letter of praise from the project owner. This followed a letter of gratitude from the supervision unit on December 24, 2023, marking another recognition of the project team’s efforts by the owner.　

       The letter of praise highlighted: Since the commencement of the project, the project management team has demonstrated exceptional professionalism and problem-solving capabilities in the face of complex and ever-changing construction conditions, heavy rainfall, and material shortages. The project management team successfully completed a series of critical construction milestones, including the hoisting of the main steel structure of the casting workshop, deep excavation for the domestic sewage system, and the pouring of the raft foundation for the alumina storage facility. These achievements ensured the project’s quality and progress, fully demonstrating the capabilities and exemplary conduct of a national leader in metallurgical construction. The owner expressed heartfelt gratitude for the project team’s outstanding performance in fulfilling the contract and set higher expectations for the remaining construction tasks. They encouraged the team to maintain high morale, plan scientifically, organize meticulously, and strictly adhere to contractual obligations to successfully complete the project.
