On January 1, 2025, the Sri Lankan employees of the overseas company’s Sri Lanka CEP Project organized a traditional Sri Lankan-style New Year celebration at the main camp. Representatives from the project owner (RDA), the consulting party (RDC), and Chinese employees of the project were invited to participate. 

       During the event, participants looked forward to the future, exchanged blessings, and observed Sri Lanka’s long-standing traditions, including the ritual of boiling milk in clay pots and lighting oil lamps for blessings. They also enjoyed traditional delicacies prepared by the Sri Lankan staff. Zhu Yong, Acting Project Manager of the Sri Lanka CEP Project, and Pradeep, Acting Team Leader of the consulting party, delivered New Year’s speeches, extending their heartfelt wishes to everyone. 

    Over the past year, Chinese and Sri Lankan employees of the project have supported each other, weathering challenges together with project stakeholders and overcoming numerous difficulties with determination and hard work. Looking ahead to the new year, the entire CEP project team will continue to unite, work hand in hand, and move forward with unwavering dedication, striving toward the grand vision of the project.
